Why SupportED?
Across Nebraska, organizations are doing exceptional work to support schools, educators, and communities. But those resources can be spread across many different agencies, associations, programs, and websites, making it difficult to know what is available or where to begin.
SupportED brings trusted resources together and organizes them around the needs of Nebraska schools. Our goal is to make useful information easier to find, understand, and put into practice.
The site provides guidance without prescribing a single path. Nebraska communities know their students best, and SupportED is designed to strengthen local decision-making by helping educators and leaders explore credible resources, consider their options, and identify the support that best fits their local context.
Built Through Statewide Collaboration
SupportED is maintained through a collaborative effort between the Nebraska Department of Education and the Educational Service Unit Coordinating Council.
Resources are also developed and curated with the help of statewide education associations, higher education partners, agencies, and other leaders committed to supporting Nebraska schools. Their involvement helps ensure that the information featured on SupportED is credible, relevant, and connected to the people and organizations equipped to help.
